City Tavern

If your ever in the Culver City area, check out the City Tavern. This tavern was created by the guys who runs Rush Street and their vision to rival all gastropubs.this tavern isn’t a large area and it can feel crowded because of the seating but it’s a nice place to catch a quick drink and something to eat.  The motto of this tavern is Chow, Drink, and be Merrymaking .

An old college friend was in town so we met up with some other friends and had a nice dinner. Of course when your catching up a round of drinks are in order so we all started off with a Tavern Margarita.

The menu has a lot of good food on it but I stuck with side dishes as my entree. A lot of times the side dish is filling and less the price and I’m a fan of paying the lesser price.

I ordered the Mac n Cheese- smoked Gouda, orecchiette, paprika croutons

And the Brussel Sprouts

My meal was simple yet what I needed. And make sure you check out the decor along the walls. You might come across some pearls of wisdom.

Tavern City- 9739 Culver Blvd Culver City, CA. 90232

Parking is 2 hrs free at Watseka and Cardiff lots but there’s also valet available

They also have a location in Downtown LA

*all opinions are my own*
